Here's DC, made by our team's mentor, Debra Fader. He's supposed to be a replica of Dave, but we still can't decide which of them has more hair.

Monique
This is Monique, one of the puppets made by Dave. The eyes are hand painted onto wooden discs that can be found in a craft store. The eyelashes are found in the doll making supplies. The hair comes from Oriental Trading Company and weighs about 2 pounds so the puppeteers often complain about the weight of the puppet. We put large hoop earrings on her sometimes, and with her hair down she really takes on a personality.

In Progress
Here's how a puppet looks halfway through. Actually the hard part is yet to come. That's the part where the facial features have to be decided upon, such as hair type and style, eyes and eye brows, and the nose. That's where the personality of the puppet is determined.
