QUCKIE PRACTICE!
Due to our trip being in the middle of the summer, our team wasn't able to practice completely together for several weeks before we left. We held our very own practice in our beach house driveway (stage and all). Song in picture: Doxology

NEW RIDDDDE
We started traveling so much more then before that we had to upgrade to something large enought to carry all of our puppets, props, stage, and travelling gear. Soon after buying the trailer, the church a new van - large enough to carry the whole team! :) Wave if ya see us!

Ed and his puppeteers at I-Fest
Black light Ed, and Phoebe and Lauren after one of our I-Fest performances. The full size puppet, Ed, is operated by two puppeteers. One is strapped to the arms and legs, and the other moves the head and operates the mouth. A lot of coordination is required to have the head and body move and posture in a life like manner. Both puppeteers dress in total black with hoods so that on stage, only the puppet is visible. After this performance, the audience swarmed Ed and the puppeteers to get pictures.

Baby Toucans in Black Light
These nestlings appear in the Song It's A Jungle Out There. They were rebuilt from Oriental Trading Company puppets with new bills and eyes made from fluorescent materials.

Here's a partial inventory of puppets before packing up for a show.

Rock Puppets
These puppets that Dave made are used in the Christian parody song by Mark Bradford, "He's The Rock", to the tune of the 50's song "At The Hop".
